WebCM is a contract management solution designed by people who have extensive hands on experience in contract administration, management, governance and procurement. WebCM, which is just a short name for Web Contract Management, is accessible online from anywhere and operates independently from your own organisation’s IT infrastructure. WebCM is a web based software solution offered as a hosted service.
WebCM is owned by Contracts Online Pty Limited which was established in late 2012. The people who own and manage Contracts Online are highly knowledgeable in procurement and contract management with a combined 50+ years of experience. They have provided business advice to many organisations such as ANZ, IAG, Westpac, Qantas, Centrelink, RTA and alike.
The other co-founder, IT expert and propeller hat aficionado.
Mark is WebCM’s resident geek. With surprisingly good social skills for an IT specialist, his background includes the development and management of a customised ERP application used to run the business.
Chat With HimWebCM’s head honcho and co-founder of WebCM.
Chris is the head honcho at Contracts Online and has an almost embarrassing amount of experience as a contract manager and administrator (over 20 years to be exact).
Chat With HimIts foundation clients include Bendigo Bank, Australian Foundation Investment Company and the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Vic); all of whom remain with us today.
Some highlights along the way:
2013 added language translation capability; specifically New Zealand English to Maori but it can be configured to many other languages as required.
In 2014, WebCM was expanded to provide workload planning tools. Perfect for organisations with more than 300 contracts under management and a serious must have feature for those organisations with over 1,000 contracts.
In 2015, we added the ability to apply forward commitments (think budget) to contracts for the purpose of comparing to actual expenditure.
In 2017 we added the ability for clients and suppliers to maintain a running action list of tasks to be completed and measuring improvement initiatives (think reduced risk and lower costs).
Our clients are continually asking us to automate business processes associated with contracting and governance and we are more than happy to help.
Contracts Online uses Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (Australia) to enable the delivery of WebCM. This approach means WebCM is highly scalable in both the number of users and physical infrastructure.
The ICT environment has been designed and implemented to align with best practice and ISO27000 standards. The security of the application and the commercially sensitive data within it has been a primary factor in all decisions. Access to information is restricted to only those who have a need. The data store is protected by multiple layers of security, including firewalls and encryption. Penetration testing is undertaken each year.
